BALLET
Available from 2 years old
Classical Ballet is a technical form of dance training. Students will focus on building the strength, flexibility and control needed to execute ballet moves.
Each class will emphasize barre exercises and may also include a combination of center floor work and across-the-floor combinations.
This style is designed to encourage anatomical and spacial awareness, musical appreciation, physical control and use of imagination.

LYRICAL/ CONTEMPORARY
Available from Year 3
Lyrical/ Contemporary combines techniques and skills from ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. Students will explore how lyrical/contemporary dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. This style has an emphasis on an emotional connection and feeling to various styles of music.
HIP HOP
Available from Kindergarten
Hip-hop is an upbeat urban style of dance that is forever evolving.
This high energy class teaches rhythm, coordination, and balance through age-appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music. Hip-Hop instills rhythm and helps young dancers develop muscle memory. This style is upbeat and great for girls and boys who like to move.
JAZZ
Available from Kindergarten
Jazz is an ever-evolving dance form integrating isolations, rhythmic exercises, floor patterns, improvisation and dance routine combinations choreographed to different styles of music ranging from today’s recent hits to Broadway musicals. When performing jazz routines, a strong stage presence with facial expression is emphasized.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Available from Year 3
Classes incorporate the style of dance, drama and singing you would typically see on a Broadway stage.
After a warm up and across the floor exercises students will work on some Musical Theatre repertoire and while implementing technique and storytelling into each new combination.
